Welcome to the ICCR Alumni Community Portal — the official digital platform for alumni of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) scholarship programmes, including the Africa-to-Asia (A2A) and other ICCR-sponsored scholarships. By registering on this portal, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

1. Eligibility

This portal is exclusively for individuals who have been awarded an ICCR scholarship and have studied in India under the ICCR Scholarship Programme. By registering, you confirm that you are a genuine ICCR scholarship recipient. ICCR reserves the right to verify your eligibility and suspend or remove any account found to be ineligible or misrepresenting credentials.

2. Accuracy of Information

You must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information during registration and throughout your use of the portal. This includes your name, nationality, institution attended, program details, and contact information. Providing false or misleading information may result in immediate account suspension and referral to relevant authorities.

3. Account Responsibility

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must not share your account with others or allow unauthorised access. Any activity conducted through your account is your responsibility. Notify us immediately at alumni@iccr.gov.in if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.

4. Community Standards

As a member of the ICCR Alumni Community, you agree to engage respectfully and professionally with all other members. You must not post or share content that is offensive, discriminatory, politically sensitive, defamatory, or contrary to the values of ICCR and the Government of India. Content that disrupts the spirit of cultural exchange and goodwill that underpins the ICCR scholarship programme is strictly prohibited.

5. Use of the Platform

This platform is intended for professional networking, sharing alumni experiences, accessing career opportunities, attending virtual events, and engaging with the broader ICCR alumni community. You may not use the platform for commercial solicitation, spam, fundraising, or any purpose unrelated to alumni engagement without prior written approval from ICCR.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, logos, and materials on this portal are the intellectual property of ICCR or its authorised partners. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit any portion of this platform without explicit written permission. Content you upload remains yours; however, by uploading it, you grant ICCR a non-exclusive licence to display and share it within the platform for community purposes.

7. Privacy

Your personal information is collected and handled in accordance with ICCR's Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for commercial purposes. Your information may be used to verify your alumni status, send community communications, and improve the platform. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us.

8. Moderation & Account Suspension

ICCR and its authorised administrators reserve the right to review, edit, or remove any content that violates these Terms. Accounts found to be in violation may be suspended or permanently removed without prior notice. Appeals may be submitted to alumni@iccr.gov.in.

9. Disclaimer

This portal is provided on an "as-is" basis. ICCR does not guarantee uninterrupted access and is not liable for any loss, damage, or inconvenience arising from your use of the platform. Job listings, events, and other community content are shared in good faith and do not constitute endorsements by ICCR.

10. Amendments

ICCR reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the platform after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. Significant changes will be communicated via email.
